As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.
Duties:
- Greet clients and their pets as they arrive at the clinic - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's email inbox - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, pet medical histories, and billing information - Process payments for services rendered - Communicate with veterinarians and other staff members to ensure that clients receive the best possible care - Gently restrain patients to assist the doctor or lead technician during pet care if necessary - Prepare samples to be sent to the lab - Ensure exam rooms are cleaned and well stocked between patients - Prepare and dispense medications as prescribed by the doctor - Cleaning the office and taking out the trash nightly
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is preferred - Must be able to lift 60 lbs/27 kg - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of basic computer skills - Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required
