The incumbent is responsible to operate the service desk, create repair orders, assign work in an efficient manner, and is responsible to control and report inventory for campaigns, OBC and trailer tracking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Keep shop screen updated with ETA's at all times.
Create repair orders and assign work to technicians.
Answer telephone and assist callers.
Create outsource forms for vendor repairs.
Call Glass Company for repairs and replacements.
Coordinate repairs with shop.
Assist drivers.
Order fuel for terminals and handle PO.
Schedule inventory
Maintain files and documentation on campaign vendors.
Order campaign or special order parts.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises 3-7 employees in the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the department's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 19 to 23 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
