Family Practice Physician

Job Description:
A Barton Associates client in New Jersey is searching for a family practice physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for five days in August in multiple facilities.
On a typical day, the provider will be seeing 25 to 30 patients of all ages for typical urgent care cases.
The client notes that the provider must be able to suture and splint and will have the locum work from 8 a.
m.
to 8 p.
m.
on weekdays as well as 9 a.
m.
to 4 p.
m.
on the weekend.
This facility uses the AdvancedMD EMR system and will provide training.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
