Job Description


Busy and growing manufacturing company in the lighting industry is looking to add a position in our  Order Entry Department.   

This position requires excellent skills in Excel, attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and tolerance to work in a fast-paced environment.  Previous customer service and order entry processing experience with typing 40+ wpm is a must.  Knowledge in a manufacturing environment (preferably in the lighting industry along with working with Technical spec sheets and Bills of Material.

We are looking for the right person who can communicate and work with all levels of subordinates and management across functional levels.  If you are a dedicated and hard working individual, this job is for you!

Core responsibilities will include:

         Review and process purchase orders

         Effectively communicate by requesting missing information from customers

         Data entry of customer orders quickly and accurately

         Generate Excel spread sheets as needed

         Demonstrate good problem solving and math skills

         Effective communication skills

         Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team

         Work with the team to meet sales and customer service objectives.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
